Career-oriented support and guidance have been provided by the Training and Placement Cell at RPSIT which assist students in coping up with academics along with planning for a successful career path. The institute has adopted teaching methods in collaboration with businesses, industries, and corporate to offer enhanced learning opportunities to the students. Apart from the regular training program, the institute also offers extensive training sessions of approximately 100 hours during the vacations after the pre-final examinations which help students in preparing themselves for the final recruitment procedure. Students are also provided with a capacity-building and skill-enhancement program. This program includes soft skills, communication skills, life skills, and ICT / Computing Skills.

RPSIT has implemented the latest technologies in the laboratories and classrooms to make them student-centric learning platforms. The classrooms of the institute are well-furnished with multimedia amenities such as audio-visual systems, laptops, and LCD projectors. The key purpose of constructing smart classrooms is to develop the knowledge and abilities of students along with making them technical-friendly. • Library: It has sections like Reading Hall, Reference Section, Non-Book Material, and Reprographic Section. The library offers an ambient environment for students to read. It has a collection of various Printed and Non-Printed Academic Resources.
• Laboratories: The laboratories of the institute are constructed as per the regulations set by Anna University and AICTE. Well-maintained and adequate tools are installed in the labs to conduct experiments effectively. A high-speed network system has been established within the campus that connects all the systems of the labs.
• Seminar Hall & Auditorium: The institute has fully furnished auditoriums and seminar halls consisting of audio-visual facilities. There are around 2 seminar halls within the campus that can accommodate about 300 students. An indoor auditorium of the campus has a capacity of around 600 people while approximately 3000 students can be accommodated in the open auditorium.
• Hostel: With all the basic amenities and spacious rooms, the institute provides comfortable and safe separate accommodation amenities for girls and boys within the campus.
• Cafeteria: A wide variety of food options can be experienced by the students within the cafeteria of the campus. All the refreshments and meals can be enjoyed by the students at very nominal rates.
