Marudhar Education Society comprises of a group of academicians from Rajasthan who were concerned about the upliftment of rural areas of Thar Desert.  The College was established in 2003 in Bikaner, the royal city of Rajasthan, to produce skilled engineers. MEC is affiliated to RTU, Kota Rajasthan and approved by AICTE.  The institute is the registered member of the Indian Society of Technical Education. Academia carries out undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The candidate needs to follow the admission procedure for enrolling in these professional programs.  For admission in B.Tech, the students have to appear in the entrance exam conducted by Board of Technical Education Rajasthan. 70% of seats are filled by REAP based on JEE (Main) and class XII percentage merit basis. 15% out of quota seats are allocated based on JEE mains and XII percentage by REAP. 15% of management quota seats are filled according to government guidelines by the college itself. For admission in M.Tech, the candidate has to appear in CAM counseling conducted by RTU, Kota.
