NIT Surathkal Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

NITK Surathkal has good infrastructure. The campus offers some great academic departments with all necessary labs, research section with world class facilities, auditorium for events and other small and big buildings to take care of other things. An open stage exists for cultural programs and has a decent facility for sports and fitness. The campus includes 3 gyms. It also has 1-1 common room for girls & boys respectively. Indoor badminton, table tennis courts, basketball, volleyball court, cricket ground, football ground and an athletic track are also there in the campus. Proper infrastructural facilities for yoga are also available here.

The institute offers a vast variety of things to explore. There are large amount of clubs which you can be part of. The club includes dance, music, robotics, drone and everything you need. People interested in finance also have some part although not that great but the director is aiming to improve the entrepreneurship culture in institute by promoting events and students. Two major events takes place one being Engineer (the technical fest) and Incident (being the cultural fest). Apart from this you have E-summit for entrepreneurship and other countless events .You can enjoy nearby location and most importantly the private beach. NITK campus has hostels, night canteens, library complex, sports complex, playground catering to all the students. Library complex is open from 9 AM in the morning to 1 AM in night. You can eat at night canteens till 2 AM in the night. One can go to gym, play tennis, football, cricket, etc. in the sports complex. NITK has all the basic amenities. It also has one Health Centre for health needs.

NITK has a beautiful campus life. It is the only institute in India having its own private beach. It has two fests - the technical fest is called Engineer held in October and the cultural fest called Incident held in March. Incident is one of the biggest college fests of south India. The research blocks are well facilitated with the instruments required for research. The buildings and the academic blocks are well furnished and have sufficient classrooms for the students and even there are seminar halls in each and every building. There is the facility of big and vast library with books related to each and every course.

My campus life is fully filled with joy, entertainment, fests, events, club events, sports, etc. The institute also celebrates all the festivals in the campus. There are competitions organised for each and every fests and events. The biggest fest in NITK is the INCIDENT and ENGI fest. DJ Nights are also organised in the college.Read Full Review
