Kanpur Institute of Technology Kanpur Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Campus has three buildings namely, KIT block, KIHE block, and Pharmacy building. Campus is about 30 acres with fully AC classrooms. Each one of them have a strength of about 80 students. Auditorium, computer centre, seminar hall, One canteen , etc. are inside the campus premises. Sports and medical facilities are also available. Institute has transport services also. Library is big and you don’t need to buy books of your syllabus. A favorite spot is ground.

Campus life is good. KIT Kanpur is crowded as around 5000 students are there in institutes. Extracurricular activities are organized by institutes. There is fest named ‘Engineous’ conducted every year. Every festival is celebrated in the campus with joy. Campus life is good.Read Full Review

Kanpur Institute of Technology campus is quite large, with three computer labs, two libraries, three to four auditoriums, and another separate computer lab behind the main building. There many government exams were conducted such as Air Force and Navy exams. There is also a huge playground where students play cricket, volleyball and basketball. Courts were also available on the sides. Our Institute has two buildings: the KIHM building was for polytechnic and diploma courses, while the main KIT building was for B.Tech, BCA, B.Com, and master degree students. Overall, my campus life was a mix of good and not-so-good experiences. I missed out on several events, such as the Freshers party, due to certain reasons. However, I did attend the manifesto event, which featured a popular singer, Salman Ali, from Kanpur. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, with students from all course branches coming together to have fun. The party was held within our Institute campus itself. There are two canteens in the Institute, and the sports facilities are also quite good. Additionally, medical facilities were available, including a medical lab. There is a library as well, although I'd say it is a bit smaller than it should be. The Institute maintains cleanliness, and overall, it is a well-healthy and clean Institution

Overall the campus life has been good. The parties organized are held within our Institute campus itself. There are various clubs in my Institute, but I didn't actively participate in any of them, except for the singing club, where I took part once and even received a certificate for it.Read Full Review
