Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology (MSIT) was founded by Surajmal Memorial Education Society in New Delhi. MSIT began its journey in 2001. It offers B.Tech programs to students in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. These programs are approved by AICTE and affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi. Moreover, MSIT is NAAC accredited.

MSIT has a Training and Placement Department, which works consistently for placing students in their desired company. It conducts placement and training programs for overall personality development of students. In these programs, it organises special sessions for development of technical and communication skills of students. In addition to this, it facilitates internship opportunities to students. It also encourages students to be a part of projects of industries.
Apart from this, it conducts campus placement drives for placements of students in well known companies. Some of these companies are Google, Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Amazon, Samsung, Microsoft, Josh Technologies, etc.
