Bangalore Medical College and Research Center offers the undergraduate course, postgraduate course, Super specialty, fellowship program, nursing, paramedical, and diploma courses.  

MBBS

MBBS or Bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery is an undergraduate course in medical science. The duration of the course is five years and six months that includes a one-year internship at hospitals, health camps, and health centers organized by the Non-Profit Organization. The course includes Pharmacology, anatomy, pathology, Paediatrics, community health & medicine, and surgery.

MD/MS

Doctorate of medicine is a two-year course in General Medicine in which students study medicines in detail. Students learn about, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases in adults. General medicine is one of the specializations. In-depth knowledge and experiments develop the skills. The various other specialization offered by the institute includes Physiology, Forensic Medicine, Microbiology, Pathology, Preventive & Social Medicine, Anesthesiology, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Radio Diagnosis, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Radio Therapy, Pharmacology, Bio-Chemistry, and Psychiatry.

MS or master of surgery is a three-year postgraduate course. The specialization includes Anatomy, Ear Nose & Throat, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Orthopaedics.

MCH/DM

Students opt for super specialty courses after MD/MS. MCH is Master of Chirurgie and DM is Doctor of Medicine. The MCH specialization includes Urology, Plastic Surgery, Surgical Gastroenterology, Paediatric, and Surgery, & Neuro Surgery. The DM specialization includes Neurology.

Fellowship Program

The institute offers fellowship in Cornea, Vitreo Retina, Neurology, Dermatol Surgery, Cosmic Dermatology, and Surgical Gastroenterology. The other fellowship specialization includes Glaucoma, Community Ophthalmology, and three months short fellowship in Orbit and Oculoplasty, Medical retina and Glaucoma.
