BA LLB is a five year course (aided section) with 120 seats, while LLB is a 3 year course (aided section) that has 180 seats. Any candidate holding a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline can apply for admission in these courses.
The 5 years course for B.B.A. LL.B (unaided section) has 180 seats.
The B.A LL.B course is for 5 years (unaided section) and has 100 seats. The candidates who have already completed the 10+ 2 level or have scored minimum 50% aggregate marks may pursue the course. The university gives a relaxation of about 5% to SC/ST students.
The aspiring students of LLM program for two years can easily complete their post-graduation with various specializations. The candidates who have the LLB degree from any University that is recognized by UGC and have acquired at least 50% marks or some equivalent grade is eligible for this PG course. The admission is done on the basis of marks that are scored in the All India PG law Entrance Test. The candidates should also appear in the group discussion. The weight of 70% and 30% is given to the entrance test and group discussion respectively.
How to apply?
The candidates who wish to seek admission in Bharati Vidyapeeth New Law College, Pune can apply both online or offline. They have to follow the following criteria:
The candidates can download the application form or may apply online from the official website of the college. If the candidate is applying online, he is required to pay the application fees online through net banking or through credit/debit card. Then he needs to submit the form online, along with the fee transaction details, and scanned copies of educational certificates and identity proofs.
To apply offline, one can take print out the application form, fill it up and submit at the college counter. The candidate also needs to pay the fees through the Demand Draft in favor of the Registrar, and submit its details along with the application form. While submitting the form, you also need to submit the copies of your identity proof and education certificates, including the proof of date of birth, last examination result and certificate, transfer certificate, migration certificate and four recent passport size photographs with the name written on the back side.
Once everything is submitted, the date of entrance exam is notified. If you clear the entrance test, you will get admission on the basis of your performance in a group discussion and interview.
