Nowadays, students, while choosing a college for pursuing a study program of their choice, use placements as a parameter for determining the institution’s popularity. SIG strongly supports students throughout their academic term in the university by making available adequate placement opportunities. Academia provides guidance and training right from the day a student starts attending classes.
The training and placement cell makes arrangements for summer internships and short-term summer projects lasting for two months to six months. The students are motivated to take part in personality development programs, group discussions, and grooming sessions for excelling in placement interviews. The T &P cell consistently strives to establish a robust rapport with eminent companies and firms.
Final-year students are stimulated to participate in special training programs that go a long way in boosting their technical and soft skills. In the academic year 2017-18, over 70 MNCs representing different sectors of the world of commerce visited the SIU campus for recruiting students.
