Don Bosco Institute of Technology [DBIT], Bangalore was established in the year 2001 as a Private Educational Institution. Since its inception in 2010, the Don Bosco Institute of Technology has been setting up high standards of imparting quality education. The institute allot seats for the admission process as per the norms of the Government of Karnataka. Don Bosco Institute of Technology allots around 45% seats through the Common Entrance Test, about 30% seats through the entrance exam regulated by COMEDK, and the remaining 25% seats through Management.
The institute conducts the Admission Procedure based on the marks and rank gained by the candidates in entrance exams such as CET / PG CET and COMEDK. Candidates can also take admission through Management Quota where selection will be based on the Government regulation and seat availability.
Candidates can either apply online through the website or download the form to submit offline at the campus.
For the Online process, candidates have to select the “Apply Online” option from the “Admission” tab available on the website. Register by entering the details in the Form and at the end click on “Submit (Start Application Form)” tab. Follow further instructions to fill out the Application Form.
For Offline submission, candidates have to select the “Application Form” tab and choose a particular course for which they want to apply. Download the form opened on their screens and fill it up with the information asked. Submit the complete form at the institute’s office.

DBIT will announce the information regarding different scholarship programs on the notice board on the campus. Students can submit the relevant documents required for a particular scholarship at the institute’s section on the predefined dates that are announced by the department.
