Darshan University has been renamed in 2021 as per the act. Shree G. N. Patel Education & Charitable Trust founded it as an engineering institute in 2009 with the goal of providing top-notch instruction and training in a range of engineering related subjects. The university is a UGC and AICTE approved institution whose labs are NABL approved. It also has associations with ASME, BIS, AAI, RUDA, NPC, and EDII. Scholarships for SC/ ST Students: The family income has to be below Rs. 2,50,000 per year, and the student must fall under the SC or ST categories
Post-Matric Scholarship: The household income has to be below Rs. 2,00,000 per year and the student must fall within the SEBC, NT, or DNT categories and according to government guidelines, up to Rs. 50,000 scholarship.
The Tuition Fee Waiver Program (TFW): It is available to students whose parents have made less than Rs. 8 lakh each year and admission is solely based on merit as determined by the committee. The department is crucial in helping students developing minds be free of conflicts and confusions. In today's competitive world, it is essential to foster an atmosphere where kids see obstacles as chances to succeed. The T&P department helps students understand the difficulties and barriers one can have during the journey of a career in a certain sector. Teachers in the T&P department stimulate students' ideas and inspire them to overcome challenges. Building the skills required to build a profession in a certain industry plays a major influence. For this, every department makes active arrangements for training. Library: The Darshan University Central Library prioritises the needs of its users and pursues innovation and quality. The Central Library occupies the first and second floors and has a total space of 1735 square metres. It has centralised air conditioning, a nicely equipped library, and CCTV security. It has specialized collections of Books, Periodicals, and other Engineering and Technology materials, including printed books, CDs, DVDs, and Kindle readers. A separate digital library with 24 PCs connected to high-speed internet is available. In order to facilitate learning and knowledge development, the library system is diligently focused on establishing a cosy, welcoming environment.
Book Bank: To assist deserving and needy students, the university offers a book bank facility. The major goal of the Book Bank service, which the university offers to its students, is to assist deserving but destitute students. In addition to the library books, the Book Bank also has a separate collection of 27,000 books. Every single student in every class, regardless of enrolment, has access to the book bank facility.
Student Store: All academic needs can be met at The Student Store. The college has a fully equipped campus store that sells goods to students, staff, and even visitors. The store carries and supplies goods ranging from pens to delightful snacks. It is close to the main building.

NCC: The naval unit of NCC unit at the campus came into existence in the year 2017 and this unit falls under the 8 Naval Unit of Jamnagar. Cadets receive basic military training like operating military weapons and do the parade and marches during the period of 3 years of NCC training. They also attend nationwide camps and take part in a variety of NCC events at different levels.
Hostels: 600+ Students can be accommodated here where males and female dorms are separate. The rooms are fully furnished with AC and Non AC services with bed, chair, wardrobe and other room amenities. There is security all the time, surveillance cameras, WI-FI, Lockers, and a gym for students who are living there.
ATM: Both students and the general public can use the ATMs provided by the SBI, which is located at the university entrance. All students, employees, and teachers have access to the facilities.
Sports: Many students take part in both indoor and outdoor sports including chess, table tennis, carom, cricket, and other outdoor sports like football, volleyball, and football.
