Bengal Institute of Technology was established in 2000, as a private institute to provide higher education and training to the students in the field of engineering as well as technology. The institute has been accredited by NAAC and approved by AICTE. The institute has received an affiliation from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University (MAKAUT), Kolkata.
