Bengal College of Engineering and Technology Durgapur Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The college infrastructure is up to the mark. Also, all the official work is done in separate administration building which do not lead to any chaos. Also there are separate sports ground for cricket, basketball, volleyball, etc. There is separate gym available for both boys and girls. The labs are well equipped with sufficient computers.

The overall campus life is 7/10. You can enjoy your campus but the time limit is 6 pm. Boys have to vacate the campus by 6 pm. Apart from this, the campus is rich in fest, events, competitions, etc. Every year, there is a college cultural fest organized for 2 days and we enjoy it to the fullest. Also, there are different tech and non tech clubs present which helps students to grow their coding as well as soft skills like communication, presentation, etc. These clubs also hosts some event every two month which prepare an environment of competition among students.Read Full Review

Infrastructure of our college is not so good. In college there are separate buildings for different department like CSE block, ME & CE block, CORE block, etc. But teaching method is old; infrastructure of class is old like they use chalk and black board in class. Labs are also not up to the mark. There is a very big auditorium in our college which needs renovation all the functions are organised in this auditorium. There is a small seminar hall also in which all small functions like club events and many more are organised.

Campus life in BCET is awesome. Our campus is not so big but amazing. There is cricket and football ground in the centre of campus. A volleyball court and a basketball court are also present in the college. There are many clubs in our college like EDC (Entrepreneurship Development Cell), Code Vision, Cyber Cell, Robotics, NSS and more. All clubs organise their events in different months. There is also a sport events organised every year which is known as Athleka in which all track and field games are played. Infrastructure of the college is not so good. It is very old type of infrastructure related to engineering college. Teaching method is very old. They use chalks and blackboard in class rooms. Auditorium of the college is big but not in good condition, it needs renovation. Seminar room is also very small.

Campus life is amazing in this college. As the campus is not so big but in the evening the environment here is very mesmerizing. There is a cricket ground, Volleyball court and a basket ball court, in the middle of campus. All the student play games in the evening. There is a cafeteria in the campus where seniors and juniors meet and build healthy relationship with each other.Read Full Review
