If you want to opt for degree related to technology then this college is good choice because it has overall good placement record. This college is in the heart of Bangalore which is the tech hub which is beneficial for students for applying off campus placement. Student should do hardwork by themselves. Like any other colleges it is only focus on degree not on skills. You have to improve your skills by yourselves. The way Atria Institute of Technology is positioned in terms of ranking, I am sure it must be hurting them. I will be honest that I did M. Tech from here as this was one of the rare options that I had in Bangalore to do M. Tech. Ramaiah, Christ University, REVA University, and others either asked for donations or GATE scores. I had none to offer, but I was adamant that I will study from Bangalore. Thus, AIT's happened, and I will boast all the good things that the Institute has done. If I have to describe an analogy for the Institute, it would be that the Institute has made most of the resources which are under par for a College in Bangalore. The glory years of College will come soon, as other Institutes have started seeing Atria as their juggernauts have started rolling. AIT’s proximity is one of the best and commute issues will never be a problem. It has to be considered if you are a resident of Bangalore as I had 2 colleges to choose from, SVIT and AIT and even though I wanted to go to SVIT, I had to satisfy myself with AIT. I probably had no problems with AIT once I got in because AIT is also good even though it is never a first-choice college by the students. AIT also had the best faculty which was headed by the capable hands of Dr. T N Sreenivasa. People often complain about the infrastructure but I don’t see anything wrong with that. It isn't that huge but what matters is the facility and they are all top-notch. The college also has lost its name a bit as it is often accused of giving admissions to the students through back doors. It’s true though and it has somehow impacted the kind of talent the college can produce. Not just studies but exploring other areas is also given equal importance. The college’s P&DC club for programming was started by our peers and for CSE students it was a blessing in disguise.Read Full Review
