Ahmedabad Institute of Technology Reviews on Placement, Faculty, Hostel by Students

Ahmedabad Institute of Technology is not that old but is still among the colleges that require a good score at GUJCET to get the entry. The institute has an engineering and management department and has collaborated with various companies to conduct workshops and testing at the AIT campus. AIT Ahmedabad has given toppers at the Gujarat Technological University year after year and has also won awards at various state and national level competitions. One such was when the college team won the Smart India Hackathon in 2018. Likewise, the institute has won various other awards at the National level. The grooming at the institute was unbelievable as the student's views are always taken into consideration. The students are committed and also the faculty is also devoted. Ahmedabad Institute of Technology fees suddenly hiked during the 4th semester but in terms of learning and other factors, the institute is well ahead of Nirma University and L.J. Institute of Engineering. A foundation program was started in the college in 2017 and every semester we were required to attend some 20 classes for that. On a serious note that was just time-consuming as that didn’t help me a bit to cope up with the already vast syllabus. I being a pass out from Ahmedabad Institute of Technology for my engineering would rate this college much higher than many of the higher-ranked engineering colleges in Ahmedabad. It is one of those engineering colleges that have always encouraged students to experiment. As a student, we could never hold back because the college management will start chasing us if we don’t contribute. Studying in AIT means you have to be far more superior than studies because your creativity, skill set, and other talents will also be tested. The college has never mixed studies with other activities as studies are the top most precedence of the college. A good score in GCET is required to get a berth here and for people claiming that AIT Ahmedabad gives away admissions just like that is a laughing statement. The technology would surprise one and many as Python and hacking were taken far more seriously than many programming languages. CS is about innovation and updation. The college professors played a vital role here because they can easily become tech gurus for any organization because their knowledge of the subject is another level. College can be termed average by many but from my experience, I had a great learning experience as nothing was forced upon at AIT.Read Full Review
