Ahmedabad Institute of Technology Placements: Average & Highest Package 2024, Ahmedabad

Wipro being the principal sponsor, half the students were recruited by them and there were other IT companies as well who made sure that placement is no less than 75%. The presence of industries throughout the course and counseling by some of the top industry experts meant that one will have a job even if they have fared averagely. The average placement still needs some improvement as a package of 3-4LPA even for fresher’s was not motivating enough. The college doesn’t boast a great industrial relationship as Wipro has its tie-up with the institute for a long time. The problem again is that for the similar roles the students of other colleges like L.D. College of Engineering and Nirma University are paid higher by Wipro than AIT and that really disappointed many of us. Wipro also sponsored further education of the students they saw potential in. The placements had 60% covered and the remaining 40 like me were not even given the explanation or due efforts from the college to get us placed. Hard luck is what we were told but luckily the placements were completed before the start of last semester and thereby we had time to make a rethink of what to do next.Read Full Review
