JDIFT students pursue a wide variety of courses and programs in areas including but not limited to fashion photography, fashion design, visual merchandising, and jewelry design. Students make the most of classroom instructions and hands-on training to complete their courses effectively and become budding professionals. JD Institute constantly focuses on furnishing the relevant and appropriate industry exposure to students.
The institution happens to be an associate member of several prestigious and well-known bodies like the EQAC and Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry. JDIFT also has strong collaborations with recognized establishments like London College of Fashion Adobe India and KOEFIA, Rome for facilitating study abroad projects. Such associations and partnerships with world-class institutions have enabled JDIFT students to land plum jobs and work assignments in the fields of interior design, fashion design, jewelry design, and so on.
JDIFT successfully placed more than 80% of final-year students enrolled in different programs during its 2019 placement drive. Out of the total number of final-year students, about 116 were selected for final placements. The students landed lucrative positions in high-end boutiques, jewelry showrooms, export houses, retail companies, and interior design firms.
Blackberry, H&M, Calvin Klein, Decode Interiors, Market Craft, Mandira Wirk, Rina Dhaka, and Tommy Hilfiger were some of the eminent brands that participated in the placement drive. The median and average annual salary packages offered to deserving students were in the range of Rs.2.16- Rs. 2.40 lakhs. The maximum CTC package offered was Rs. 4.2 lakhs, and the average highest salary for the past three years has hovered around three lakhs per annum.
