Jadavpur University has a Training and Placement Cell which invites various companies for campus placements. The Cell provides guidance and assistance to the students. The main campus of Jadavpur University is in South Kolkata and is spread over 60 acres of land on Raja Subodh Chandra Mallik Road. It is at a distance of 15 kms from Howrah station by road, 8kms from Sealdah Station by rail, 3 kms from Metro Railway Terminus at Tollygunge by road, and 25 kms from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport by road. The campus can be approached by public transport from every part of Kolkata.
