Mithila Minority Dental College and Hospital Darbhanga Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The college has three old and two new buildings. It has four lecture theaters, well-furnished but not air-conditioned. The college also has a large reading room for undergraduates and a small one for post-graduates. The library has all the necessary books and journals but, you cannot borrow them. The infrastructure is nothing to be impressed with. The best part of the infrastructure was a newly constructed mess. The old boy's mess was too small and was also unhygienic. We have tv and gym rooms in both the hostels. There is a cafeteria which is under furnished, unhygienic and overly charged. They always charge an extra amount on MRP. It also has a Digital library and a seminar room.

My overall campus life had been okay. As compared to girls, we were allowed to go to the market whenever we wished to. The college used to hold many sports competitions such as cricket, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, carrom, etc. I had always been an athlete and used to participate in many sports. But the star of the show was the JOSH FEST, and cricket used to be the heart of the fest. I was the captain of my cricket team in my internship. And of course! We did win the match. We have many grand parties on Christmas eve and a new year party every year. MMDCH doesn't have an impressive infrastructure but its ok we're not here for the buildings. There are 3 tall buildings and a large sports ground. There are a total of 4 lecture theaters. The college also consists of a library, digital library, college canteen and a seminar room. There are various laboratories for different subjects.

Separate gym and entertainment room is available in both hostels. The college has a private van to drop & pick up the students (girls) from the market on the outing days. Every year, Josh fest is organized by the college which comprises of many indoor & outdoor game competitions such as badminton, chess, cricket, volleyball etc. To be honest I used to love the fest, as it provides you some relief from your studies. There is also a cafeteria present in the college campus.

Campus life is not very happening in MMDCH. There is no Wi-Fi connection. Outings are also only 1 per week and that only for 2-3 hrs maximum. The campus is safe as no one can get in or out without permission. The college is under the direct administration of managing director.

The college holds a grand celebration on Christmas and New year’s eve every year. There are many other celebrations held by the college such as Diwali, Saraswati Puja etc. Rangoli competitions are organized on Diwali.
