    I have chosen a Bachelor of Technology in Mathematics and Computing because I had a great interest in this course. I love the course as it provides me opportunities to go to any stream I want in this digital world. It is unbounded unlike Computer Science where we only dive deep into software skills whereas here we can also get exposure to the algorithm behind every computer program, which helps, in Machine Learning and Artificial intelligence, which is the future of the world.
    We pay fee on semester basis. Its breakdown is as follows: Rs. 1,00,000 as tuition fee 18,000 as mess fee. Some other feed like caution deposit, insurance and registration charges are included. There are special discounts based on family income as well as categories. There is also several scholarship exams through which almost the entire fee is waived off and one can get some pocket expenses.Read Full Review

    Reasons to Choose ECE at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad
    I chose ECE branch at Indian Institute of Technology, Dhanbad and motive for the same was to get into a top branch like ECE, CSE, EE, etc. After coming here I realize I have made the right decision as ECE as a branch is challenging which maintains the spice in life. Also one can easily explore the software fields as everyone else is doing same and ECE helps you to explore the Hardware part so at the end you have good expertise in software and hardware both. Eligibility criteria is simple i.e. you need to qualify JEE Advanced exam and you must clear that cut off rank in JOSAA counseling. Admission happens through JOSAA counseling only and you need to physically report at the institute once counseling is done to get the hostels, etc. There is very less load of academics. We need to take up two quizzes, mid semester exams, end-semester exams in a semester. Maybe assignments too sometimes if professor gives. These quizzes, exams, practical, etc. sets you to some other level and exams or any other kind of pressure is no longer worrisome.
    For the first semester I need to pay Rs. 1,50,000 which includes Rs. 35,000 as JOSAA counseling fees. For 2nd semester I need to pay Rs. 1,20,000. This is total fees for a general candidate who includes Tuition fees, hostel and mess fees also the other charges. If you fall in appropriate category your Tuition fees will be waived off. As far as I know it is given to SC/ST, EWS, and OBC (NCL) students. Scholarship and financial aid is given only on the basis of this category and not on the basis of your academic performance.Read Full Review

    My Review on Indian Institute of Technology, Dhanbad
    The eligibility criteria for IIT ISM Dhanbad is through JEE advanced. First of all we need to keep all the colleges best on our marks in JOSAA counseling based on your marks and rank you will be getting into this college of your rank matches with the rank provide by the college. I say that petroleum engineering and mining engineering have lot of opportunities of job.
