The Training and Placement Cell of Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women consists of intelligent, energetic, knowledgeable, and dynamic faculty members and students. The cell continuously works on increasing the quantity and quality of on-campus placements. It also conducts seminars on a regular basis to improve required skills and knowledge of students. It also works on embedding professionalism in students’ personalities so that they can excel in future.

The placement companies that visit the university are Accenture, Amazon, Bosch, Cisco Systems, Cognizant, Ernst & Young, Flipkart, G4S, Hero MotoCorp, IBM, Impetus Technologies, Microsoft, Maruti Suzuki, Oracle Corporation, Samsung, Tata Consultancy Services, TVS Motor Company, Tech Mahindra, etc.

The University has state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities consisting of well-maintained laboratories, automated library, auditorium, computer centre, conference room, seminar room, sports, etc. The details about the facilities available at IGDTUW are stated below:

• Learning Resources Centre: It is the key source of information that provides students academic knowledge through its wide collection of journals, textbooks, and reference materials. The library has a rich collection of Audio-Visual, Electronics, and Printed books related to the disciplines of Engineering, Science, Management, Technology, and Technical Communication. Students are also provided with a Book Bank facility. The library also has a digital library section that provides e-materials like digital thesis, CDs, DVDs, and other e-resources.
• IT Services: The campus has IT-infrastructure and provides LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity for Hostel, Academic, and Administrative blocks within the premises. The Planning and Development Division of the university manages and monitors LAN connectivity which connects around 500+ computers and 80+ printers.
• Computer Centre: A centralised computing amenity has been established within the campus that is equipped with high-end configured computer systems.
• Hostels: There are around 2 Women hostels namely Krishna Hostel and Kaveri Hostel that provides residential facilities for approximately 350 students. A clean and safe environment is provided within the hostel premises. The rooms are available on twin or triple sharing basis that are equipped with cupboards, chairs, beds, study tables, and other basic facilities. Students are also provided with outdoor and indoor sports facilities. Hostellers are also provided with gymnasium facilities within the premises of hostels.
• Common Room: There is a common room within the university’s campus that is equipped with yoga facilities, fitness equipment, and indoor games.
• Medical Facility: Healthcare facilities are provided within the campus where the dispensary has beds, medicine counter, first-aid facilities, medical equipment, and physical screening tools.
• Bank Facility: The University’s premise has bank and ATM facilities that enable students to perform their banking activities.
