Training and placement cell of the United Institute of Technology dedicatedly provides training to students so that they can face the corporate world. The primary goal is to provide job opportunities for every student studying in UIT. The training program comprises of the three-stage process so that students can be industry ready and have a successful professional career. Emphasis is on training students to meet the requirements of the IT industry. With the help of e-learning, students learn technologies of the information technology industry.
The placement cell organizes on campus as well as the off-campus recruitment process. The department invites HR person to brief students on confidence building, self-enhancement, career awareness, etc. It also conducts aptitude test, group discussions and soft skills programs for the benefit of its students and preparing them for campus recruitment.
The training is scientific and available 24/7 at a pace that is suitable for every student. The college has tied up with corporate leaders for training sessions. The placement record is decent. Every year all the eligible students get a job in prime companies. Some students even have more than one offer. The motive of training and placement cell is to train students according to industry needs and provide the best opportunity available in India as well as abroad. The minimum package offered was Rs. 2.4 LPA, and highest package bagged by the college is Rs. 12 LPA.
