The college infrastructure caters the needs of faculty and students. The sprawling campus is spread in 25 acres and is 3 km away from the town of Periyanaickenpalayam. There is a canteen facility in the college campus where a variety of south and north Indian snacks items and food are available to the students and staff members. The food and snacks are available in an affordable amount with the highest quality. The homemade flavor delicacies are cooked with perfection and served with courtesy. RO water is used in the preparation of dishes. Adequate seating facilities are available that can accommodate students and staff during peak hours too. Accommodation of 200 students is available in the canteen.
Computer center comprises of laboratory where students work in programming languages such as C, C++, VB, COBOL, JAVA, and VC++. Multimedia and Internet Programming Laboratory is specifically useful for multimedia programming. Students get training in multimedia tools such as Photoshop, Macromedia Flash, Adobe Premiere, Sound Forge and Maya. Specific hardware kits are used for multimedia programming and demonstration. UTI has an ultra high-speed Fiber Optic for networking across the campus. The distributed computing environment at UIT has advanced computer simulation to solve problems for academia and industry.
Academia features an ultra modern conference hall within the campus which has the latest audio and video systems. Invitation to industry experts helps in the overall development of students as they share practical knowledge with students. Seminars and symposiums are frequently taking place to encourage, motivate students by conducting various events.
UIT believes in providing exposure to its students through regular international and national conferences/ seminars/symposium/workshops. In this regard, the institute has a wide choice of modern seminar facilities that are available on the college campus. The studio hall also provides this facility.
The Transport department of UIT is responsible for providing an efficient transportation system. The students and staff cover their journey in comfortable buses that connect every corner of the city with the college campus. The department also monitors the regular function of all the buses. There are 15 buses covering Bhavanisagar, Annur, Tirupur, Sathiyamangalam, etc. The Transport department is working on an extension of routes. ATM facility is also available within the college. South Indian Bank ATM operates 24/7. Staff and students utilize this ATM for the transaction on all days.
