HL College of Commerce Faculty Profile, Ahmedabad

The faculty members were masters of the respective subject and the kind of knowledge they had was unimaginable. All of them were so supportive and the extra classes for us were organized as and when required. Just one day notice and next day what we see is faculty entering the class before students even for extra classes. This level of dedication comes inherently and thereby the HR department of the college who has made sure that the professors who are in the college for decades now has still stayed on with the college. All the professors are quality and believe in imparting the same in students as well. The alumni of HL have done really well and all thanks to our faculty members who have us insight on what the commercial studies helps in. The only problem that I count is the faculty to student ratio. The same set of faculty was in command for all three years. The associate professors who came once in a while were very few. I am saying this because most of the faculty members were strict and trust me some students also changed few subjects to avoid them. However, they were all helpful and always there for us in times of adversity.Read Full Review

Others can only envy as H. L. has arguably the best faculty. The lecturers are not just highly qualified but are also highly knowledgeable and hold significant experience in teaching. The lecturers who were there in my time were serving in the college for more than a decade and hence you can see the amount of experienced that they held. As mentioned earlier, the college’s principal and other staff members were very supportive and never hesitated to help out students. Besides studies, our professors encouraged me to participate in other cultural activities as well and also appreciated my efforts.

Guest lectures were held from time to time in the large auditorium that was inbuilt within the campus. Almost all the members of the faculty were easily accessible and were up for held whenever needed. Also, the faculty has built up a student council where the students can raise their concerns and are addressed shortly.Read Full Review
