HL College of Commerce Ahmedabad Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The college may be some years old but there is a reason why this is the best college. The college is the best commerce college of Gujarat University and the management as made sure that they live up to the expectation. The digital classrooms and library made sure that we adapt to the changing methods. The seminar hall which boasted prominent personality often is a treat to watch. The lively campus has added an extra charm to the college. The college is serious about sports and why not the city has produced some of the finest cricketers. Even HL has produced many domestic players and Parthiv Patel himself has come to monitor the progress at the University level. Not just cricket ground but as all the indoor sports inside the sports complex at the campus. The campus is Wi-Fi and while on campus you can access that from any corner as there are multiple Wi-Fi connections since the campus is huge.

I was allowed to stay in the college even after college hours and that was great. Doing group studies in the library and in open lawns helped me a lot. The college has left a lasting influence on me and I would highly recommend this college if one wants to be proficient in accountancy. The events and cultural fest of the college was worth participating in. A loud cheer from all ends beckoned and was amazing being part of this lovely organization. The juniors were ambitious too and always walked up to us and that was as pleasing as there is no such thing called juniors-seniors. No ragging or misbehaved is tolerated and if something like that happens the management takes a note of it immediately. The campus is big and have some or the other buildings everywhere in the campus. Inside the campus there is a building named HL Plaza. The building has an auditorium and a stage. The college has a proper cricket ground and University matches are organized in those grounds. The ground also has a pavilion and that gives you the feel of a stadium and there is enough seating capacity as well. There is also an indoor sporting facility which has chess tables, table tennis tables, badminton court, and a gym. Inside the campus there’s a medical emergency facility as well. The college campus is fully Wi-Fi and one can access that from any part of the campus. The college has a huge canteen that serves snacks and thali as well. One of the grandest libraries that you will find is at HL college campus. The college is well maintained and therefore a huge cheer for the college infrastructure.

Being called HLite wherever I went gave me a different feeling. I worked hard to get that tag and once I became a part of illustrious HL family, I made college my 2nd home. I made ample friends and even after college hours spending time on endless discussions with friends made my life at HL the best. The college is located in the prime area and therefore even after it was late in the campus and we were literally asked to leave the campus, we didn’t leave the campus until then. The campus is sprawling green with high percentage seating areas. There’s an inbuilt complex called H. L. Plaza within the campus. The complex has a stage and has all the amenities to host large events that are held from time to time in the college. There’s a lush green sports ground as well. The ground is used for hosting university cricket and football matches. Also, there’s a mini-pavilion area in the ground. The pavilion has a well-equipped gym, table tennis tables, and chess tables. Also, there’s an Ahmadabad Education Society sports complex which has volleyball courts, basketball courts, and 6 practice cricket pitches.

The classrooms are huge and properly ventilated. Students enjoy all the facilities such as Wi-Fi, medical, and canteen which serves some of the best food that I ever had. The library which needs no mention is of the highest standards that you will find. The library is digitalized and has one modern computer lab which has nearly 30pcs. I can proudly say that my college was the best when it comes to infrastructure. Starting from Sports ground, library, and classrooms everything is up-to-date.

Even 2 years after passing out my life at H. L. is something which I still miss. The pleasant campus that the college has made sure that the students who pass out from their college are industry-ready and will be ready to add value to the company they will work in the future. The best part is campus location as everything that one needs such as banks, restaurants, hospitals, sharing auto-stand is nearby. The campus too is endowed with all basic amenities that made our life 'go easy' during college hours. The professors made learning more interesting.

H. L. shaped my personality 3-dimensional through the clubs that they run inside the campus such as HLCCMUN which is a debate club, Jhankaar Beats Dance Club which organizes dance workshops from time to time, and my favorite Theatre Artists Club which aims to develop the theatrical skills of the students and during college fests and inter-colleges programs the club provided me the opportunity to participate in drama and skit. TED has authorised our college to organise TEXx events. I am not sure but as far as I reckon H. L. is the only college that has this facility.
