The candidates who are seeking admission in VIT are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the institute. The candidates should have secured a minimum of 45% in Karnataka 2nd PUC or other equivalent examination with Physics, Math and other optional subjects (a minimum of 40% is required to be secured by candidates belonging to ST / OBC from Karnataka state).

Vivekananda Institute of Technology has established a Career Counseling & Placement Cell for providing better guidance and placement opportunities to the students.
