The Training and Placement Cell at SKIT is working towards empowering students through several skills which are required to sustain in corporate industry. The cell acts as a mediator between students and companies. The institute is connected with various national & multinational companies to facilitate campus recruitment. Internships are provided to the students in their respective stream enabling them to gain hands-on practical exposure.

Adequate facilities like auditorium, group discussion rooms, training rooms, etc are available to conduct below mentioned activities:

Students get the opportunity to work with leading companies like Infosys, Wipro, Samsung, Cognizant Technologies, HCL Technologies, Syntel, Rinex, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Cordis, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Accenture, Capgemini, Mind Tree, Axis Bank, and many other organisations.

SKIT Bangalore is aesthetically designed with various facilities that are used for overall development of the students. CCTV cameras are installed in spacious classrooms of the institute. There is an internet center which facilitates free internet services to the students. The institute is equipped with state of art facilities which are mentioned below:

• Library: The library of SKIT is also known as Information Center which has a number of resources like 27000+ books, 45+ national journals, 900+ project reports, 90+ bound volumes of journals, 7300+ e-journals, 10000+ e-books, etc. To access online resources, a digital library facility is provided to the users and a separate reference section is available which accommodates around 150 students. This place is fully computerised with “Libsoft” software.
• Laboratories: A computer lab having number of PC’s which are connected with IBM servers and equipped with various software tools like C, C++, Oracle, etc. There are various well equipped departmental laboratories also which are used to provide practical learning to the students, some of them are mentioned below:

• Hostel: The hostel buildings of both male and female students are situated within the institute’s campus and are equipped with modern facilities. Students are provided with a mess facility. For maintaining the decorum and environment at hostels, wardens are appointed. 24/7 medical facilities are available.
• Cafeteria: The institute’s cafeteria is named as “The Round Table” which serves hygienically prepared meals and refreshments to the students at reasonable prices.
• Sports: The institute’s playground has a seating capacity of around 1000 students and it comprises cricket ground, football court, basketball court, and volleyball court. Every year, the institute organises sports meets.
• Medical Facilities: To provide free medical assistance to the students, SKIT is connected with “Raghavendra People Tree Hospital”. Moreover, the institute also conducts free health checkups for the students on a regular basis.
• Auditorium: Here, the institute conducts several workshops, debates, and many other cultural activities. It can accommodate around 300 students and is enabled with modern facilities like audio-visual aids.
• Transportation Facilities: SKIT has its own buses which provides transportation facilities to its students around different parts of the city.
• Amphitheater: This place of the institute is surrounded with greenery and can accommodate more than 900 students at a time.
• Additional Facilities: Bank, Stationery Facility, Incubation Centre, and many other facilities.
