NIT has a Training and Placement Cell for career guidance and placements of students. Institute has career development clubs which emphasises on personality development of students. It constitutes a soft skill club, analytical and consulting club. These clubs conduct programs like mock interview sessions, group discussion, guest lectures, expert talks, workshops on CV, placement talks, skill improvement (writing skill, communication, skill, technical skill, etc.), industrial visit, internship opportunities, aptitude test, puzzles, etc.
