NIT Raipur Faculty Profile

In case of B.Tech courses there are several branches like Computer science, IT, Mechanical Engineering, electrical engineering, ECE, Mining, metallurgy and civil Engineering. There are different cut off for these branches as you can get CSE at 98%ile and for Mining on 97%ile. Yes these can fluctuate greatly according to the number of applicants registering for the exam. Faculty is good as they will teach you well but in some cases they are rude if you mess with them. The faculty here is a blend of experienced professors and young researchers. Most of them are well-qualified, and great in their fields. The M.Tech and Ph.D students also assist the faculties in teaching. The lab assistants are also very educated and well aware about the equipment and the experiments in the lab. Faculty members are well qualified and having experience with more than 10 years in their relevant subjects. Even few of them are in top 2% researcher of the world. Most of them have done their Ph.D from foreign or IIT. They deliver industry oriented knowledge to the students and also personal attention to the needful students.
