NIT Raipur Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

NIT Raipur is lush green surrounded by trees and has a peaceful environment. Campus infrastructure is not that much good because overall it is of 100 acres and our institute has three floors. Saraswati Station is just connected by a route with my institute. Some classrooms are good enough like IITs ones and some are just like normal school type. Classrooms have a seating capacity to accommodate 100 students. There is one fully air conditioned library, one sports complex and a basketball court, one CCC lab, and an auditorium. This institute has a canteen which has a very good seating arrangement. A coffee shop and a B-mart are also present within the campus. Central garden is my favorite place here, as I can find peace there. Here is one dispensary, which is free for all NIT students. The campus good security.

Overall, campus life is good. There are a lot of clubs like ‘Nrityam’, ‘Aavartan’, ‘Technocracy’, etc. where students participate according to their interests. Till now, I'm not a part of any club. Here many fests are also celebrated like ‘Eclectica’, which is one of the biggest fests ever. Other events like ‘Shruti’ and Garba night is also held here. Present day infrastructure is good. it is an old institute as it was constructed in 1956, so compared to now good but there is main building and which consists of big library, inner halls, auditoriums, conference halls, classrooms, departmental HoD block, and many cabins of higher officials. There officials can be directors, deans, principles academic lecturers, & warden sir. there is a sports complex and gym for students.

Compare to all NITs, NIT Raipur is a good institute and well in academics, and non-academics like conducting sports, fests, events many committee are in institute. Each event is celebrated grandly with a highly level students. In addition, in every weekend and month ends, we have feast. In this institute, Elceticka and Shruti events are very famous events in institute. people participate in these events and enjoy a lot.Read Full Review

No one in the Institute carries books for studying like in schools. There is one library and you have to apply for identity card so that you can issue a book from the library. Everyone prepares for Semester exams by seeing PDF’s and last year papers. The campus size is around 100 acres. You can buy any items whatever you like. All the items are available inside or around the Institute. There are three canteens inside the Institute and there are two grounds inside the Institute. The additional facilities include one gym, etc.

The overall campus review is above average. The total first year students are around 1,400 members. There are many clubs in the Institute. Many fests take place during the Institute. There is one fest called 'Eclectika' that takes place in our Institute. It is also known as central India’s biggest fest. Many other events too take place and there is Garba night organized in October. Many students are very excited to join many clubs and participate in the events that take place inside the Institute.Read Full Review
