K J Somaiya College of Engineering hostels provide accommodation facilities to male and female students in three residential blocks namely,

• Sandipani Hostel which has 230 rooms and provides accommodation to NRI boys on a first-come-first-serve basis
• Maitreyi Hostel which has 130 rooms and provides accommodation to NRI girls on a first-come-first-serve basis
• Polytechnic Hostel which has 71 rooms and provides accommodation to both NRI boys and girls on separate floors.

K J Somaiya College of Engineering hostel rooms are available on a shared basis and are allotted basic furniture such as a bed, table, chair, and cupboard. Sandipani hostel and Maitreyi hostel have double and triple-sharing rooms. The polytechnic hostel has four-person sharing rooms.

K J Somaiya College of Engineering hostel food is good in taste and healthy. The mess serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and evening snacks to the residents. The food prepared is hygienic and nutritious at the same time. The mess committee prepares the menu every two weeks.

• The mess timings should be duly followed.
