K J Somaiya College of Engineering Faculty Profile, Mumbai

The faculty is quite varying. Since, this is an honest review; there are some downsides to some parts. There are faculty members, who are well aware of their field and have mastery over their subject. They teach quite well & engage with students, instead of just ignoring students; they make the lecture engage-able and make sure everyone is acquiring the knowledge. They make sure, no one is left behind. However, a few faculty members are well quite opposite of what was described in the previous few sentences. They just wrap up the lecture quickly, finish the portion, and then leave. Overall, I can say that except few, others are great and I am happy to be taught by them.Read Full Review

Faculty is nice and supportive. Almost every faculty member has done their Masters, out of which some are PhD holders as well. They know the subject matter well and teach in an easy to understand manner. Most of them have worked in companies and then joined teaching hence, they have hands on knowledge of what they're teaching. In class, they use blackboard and PPT both. If any student is stuck with a topic, teachers provide personal help and give their time to help the student learn the topic. The teacher student ratio is perfect.Read Full Review

Faculty is good with high qualification. Many of them are IIT graduates. They are Ph.D degree holders with deep knowledge of their respective fields. They also clear the doubts and queries of the students. The faculty members have a very nice behavior and they are friendly towards the students.Read Full Review
