The Career Counseling and Placement Cell in the college guides its students on how to secure admission in renowned universities in India and abroad for higher education and to explore the placement opportunities in government and private organisations. For this, it conducts various activities such as seminars, workshops, awareness programs, counseling, etc. Furthermore, there is an Entrepreneurship Development Cell in the college whose aim is to nurture entrepreneurial skills among its students.

The government college started its academic curriculum from a Government Higher Secondary School building, Itanagar and later, in 1986, shifted to its present campus at Vivek Vihar, P.O. R.K. Mission, Itanagar. Since then, rapid growth was seen in the expansion of the infrastructure in the campus. The Academic and Administrative block in the campus provides various facilities for an efficient teaching and learning environment. The Auditorium is housed in the centre of the college and is equipped with facilities for cultural, literary, and indoor sports. Various programs, counseling sessions, seminars, workshops, etc are conducted in it. Some of the other facilities provided by the college are:

• Library: The Library of the college is housed in a separate building and provides open access through RFID technology to its students. Its total holdings comprise of 31,000+ titles including books funded by government, UGC, and books donated. Students automatically obtain library membership which expires with the validity of the Identity card.
• Hostel: Limited hostel facilities are available for girls and boys students. Boy students are accommodated in the Tai Bida Boys’ Hostel (86 seats), whereas, girl students are provided residence in Nyari Welley Girls’ Hostel (140 seats). The admission of the hostel students are based on the guidelines of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh. To apply for allotment of hostel rooms, boy students must score 50% marks and girl students must score 45% marks in the qualifying exam.
• ICT Facilities: The College has a Computer Centre and IT Cell to familiarize students with the latest technology. There are a total of 39 classrooms in the college. The departmental classrooms are equipped with ICT tools like multimedia projectors and interactive smart boards. Seven laboratories in different departments and four research laboratories were set up to perform various experiments. A Digital Language Lab was set-up to enhance the communication skills and personality development of the students. The Language Lab has 19 desktops with headsets.
• Sports: There is a playground adjacent to the main building and an open stadium in the college which has ample facilities for sports, athletics events, and for recreational purposes. Students are provided training for games like football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, basketball, table-tennis, etc. 
• Canteen: The College has two canteens which provide food, snacks, refreshments, and other items at affordable prices. The management ensures hygienic preparation of food.
• Transportation: Two buses are provided by the college for commuting by the students and staff. Apart from the college buses, the state transport corporation provides two buses (available when there are more than 60 students) on the annual bus card system to the college campus. Traveling concessions are granted to students traveling between Itanagar and their respective homes.
• Other Facilities: Post office, Wi-Fi, etc.
