Kamala Nehru College New Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

We have one building only and one is under construction. The library is well equipped and we have all sorts of labs even though they aren’t as big as other colleges. The canteen is good, and it has a Nescafe cafe too. The field is nicely maintained and the best part is Chaupal where you’ll mostly spend your winter days. Not to mention the college pet dogs and cats.

The campus life is what made me think positively of my college after a couple of months honestly. It has active clubs and societies. The fests are average not that great but they serve the purpose. The elections happen smoothly and every other day some or the other event is happening whether it’s a seminar, lecture or competition. The crowd is diverse and mostly friendly and supportive. Kamala Nehru's library is one of the largest libraries in Delhi. It is a two floored library with air cooling. There are not many buildings in the college, but the campus is fairly large with a huge ground, basketball court, and nature square area with multiple classrooms. There's an area called as Chaupal to sit for the students. Campus is not as large as other colleges, though it's a pretty cute one. There's a Cafeteria near the Chaupal and canteen as well. There's nearby, common area for society practices, extra classes and fun time.

Campus life is great at KNC!! I mean it's a part of DU which is famous for huge fests throughout the year. The most fun part of the year session is actually the Fest Season. People from all other DU colleges and other colleges as well, come and have fun on the campus. KNC keeps organising seasonal fests, winter carnival, workshops and events conducted by the societies. The overall infrastructure of the academic blocks is average. However, they are building new academic blocks which might be ready as of now. The building overall is beautiful. The Library is very good. The auditorium is huge which offers theatre vibes. Also the Chaupal and Canteen are amazing too.

Overall campus life is great. Being around girls is another experience and I think one should experience that girlhood time once in their life. So if you're contemplating to choose a girls college or not, trust me go ahead and choose it. The crowd is great here. The societies - we have 180 Degrees Consulting, Entrepreneurship Cell, Placement Cell, Research Cell and a number of cultural societies. Basically you name it and the kind of society is there for sure. Our annual fest Ullas is also amazing, we had Mohammad Irfan last year and it was amazing.Read Full Review
