Kamala Nehru College New Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Front Chapel to our own multi storey library building, KNC New Delhi's infrastructure is as clean as a whistle. One academic block and it has classrooms on each floor. The seminar hall or the auditorium is air-conditioned and Wi-Fi is available at the college. Our college is not a part of either of North or South Campus as we are located near Green Park Metro.

It all starts here with a freshers party and then the Ganesh Chaturthi Celenrations and then the Diwali Mela. December is mostly semester breaks and hence the next big thing that happens is our annual cultural fest Ullas which happened recently. The first thing that I look forward to every time I come to the college is attend the debate society meeting. Kamala Nehru college has one academic building which has around 25 spacious and well-furnished classrooms with good lighting and ventilation , projectors, charging ports, etc. The college has a 3-storey library and innumerable number of books on various subjects. The library also has a Wi-Fi and computer systems. The college has a seminar room, which is fully air-conditioned and has audio and video facilities. The auditorium is large and spacious with 2 floors and a foyer area in front. The canteen serves hygienic meals at reasonable prices with good taste and comfortable seating space. The college has good sports facilities. It also has a medical room. My favorite part of the college is the chapel as it provides me with a fresh breath of air.

The college has a diverse student body. The atmosphere is friendly and peaceful. The college has around 25 active clubs and societies like photography, dance, music, debate, writing, green beans, consumer club, Gandhi study circle, women's development cell, NSS, etc. The annual cultural fest is called ‘Ullas’ that usually happened during February or March. It is a two-day celebration with performance, music, guests etc. Winter carnival and Diwali mela also happen sometimes. Various department and society fests are a regular thing. Campus is not so big but pretty cool. The size is medium and it’s located in South Delhi. You can travel by metro and Green Park is the nearest metro station. Academic facilities like library are large. There are 3 computer labs, a seminar hall, a big auditorium and 2 conference halls. My favorite thing is to sit in chaupal area, eating Nescafe’s tastiest maggi watching birds and feeling the peace there. It features computer labs, projectors, smart classes, etc.

My overall campus life is quite experiencing and thrilling. The crowd that comes to college is both impressive and average. Yes, there are so many clubs or societies in the college. I’m a part of my department’s art & aesthetics team. The annual fest is celebrated between the month of February and March and its name is ‘Ullas’. Other particular events include society’s fest, Diwali mela, and winter carnival, etc. My experience at KNC is good and serene.
