Institute of Hotel Management Bhopal maintains healthy relationships with diverse hospitality and allied industries. The Networking and Placement Cell of the Institute makes sure that new organisations are invited every year to organise placement drives and provide varied placement opportunities to the students globally.

The Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) of the Institute efficiently analyses the performance of the students. It organises the necessary training programs and employment activities to enhance the employability skills of the students. The Centre frequently organises training programs and seminars for the students to keep them updated about the current Industry trends.

Moreover, students are motivated to indulge in entrepreneurial activities and develop their leadership skills. Various companies are invited to conduct the annual recruitment drive in the Institute for providing industrial exposure training to the students and hire them in their respective companies.

IHM Institute Bhopal has world-class infrastructure to boost the holistic development of the students. The equipped AV room of the Institute is used to organise workshops and presentations. Students are provided lunch facilities in the dining halls.

• Library: It houses 7000+ books, magazines, journals, newsletters, etc. in various disciplines of the hospitality industry.
• Laboratories: There are around 3 restaurants and a mock bar to give demonstrations of Food and Beverage service to the students. There are various training kitchens and labs in the Institute to provide experiential learning to the students. Some of these are:

• Hostel: The Institute provides separate accommodation for boys and girls. The hostel rooms are equipped with requisite furnishing and facilities.
• Sports: The Institute organises sports week annually where the students actively participate in sports like football, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, tug-of-war, handball, chess, kho-kho, kabbadi, carom, etc.
