In order to guide and provide enough practical exposure to the students regarding current job prospects in the field of Journalism and Mass Media, MIT International School of Broadcasting and Journalism has established a dedicated placement unit. To get training for future opportunities it is mandatory for students to complete a minimum of 2 internships in the relevant field, with renowned media organisations. These internships enrich students with the required experience, and help them to acquire professional abilities and skills.

The placement cell works with a student-oriented approach and organises numerous events such as CV/ Resume Building Workshops, Seminar, Expert Talks, Career Counselling Sessions, etc. There are a number of career prospects in the related fields, such as Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, Broadcasting, News & Media, Corporate Communication, Film Making, Radio, etc.

Being a constituent of MIT-ADT University, the MIT International School of Broadcasting and Journalism is housed at the Rajbaug Complex which is the main campus of the university. The institute provides all the required facilities and is spread over a vast campus with modern infrastructure. The campus consists of various facilities which are necessary for students in order to receive advanced education in the area related to journalism. The institute provides lab facilities, studios, accommodation facilities, recreational facilities and much more, which help students to live and learn with comfort.

• Labs & Studios: To provide a practical understanding to the students about their subjects of journalism and mass media, the institute has established various labs and studios. There are numerous well equipped facilities such as Translation Lab, Creative Lab, News Studio, Recording Studio, etc. The labs are equipped with high end computer systems installed with latest software, microphones, cameras, recording devices, and much more. These labs help students to learn about linguistic diversity, translation skills, newspaper designing, graphic designing, video editing, voice modulations, broadcasting, film production, etc.
• Library: The library facility at the institute provides access to a number of media and journalism related books, references, handbooks, academic journals, national, and regional newspapers, magazines, online resources etc. A separate reading room is also provided at the library to cater to the reading habits of the students. The reading room is furnished with comfortable seating facilities, and a quiet environment which helps students to devolve upon their academic research and knowledge building with complete efficiency.
• Hostels: On campus hostels with mess facilities are provided by the institute. The rooms are furnished with closets, chairs, study tables, beds, etc. Wardens are appointed for maintenance of security of the students. A well equipped gym facility is also available at the hostel so that students can remain healthy and fit. Mess facility is also available for hostel students. Healthy and Hygienic food is served for the students at the mess.
• Sports: A well equipped sports facility is provided by the institute. Latest facilities and equipment are provided for various sports activities such as Boxing, Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Kabaddi, and much more.
