Additionally, students applying for Ph.D needs to qualify for the entrance test conducted by SBUP. The qualifying marks for the entrance are 50%. Candidates clearing the entrance exams will have to appear for viva-voce/interview. Special preference is given to the students who have qualified UGC-CSIR NET / UGC-NET / GATE / SET including JRF or have passed the exam of M.Phil.
