The campus of Balaji Institute of International Business is set amidst idyllic and verdant surroundings that inspire the students to focus on studies instinctively. BIIB is housed within the Tathawade campus of Sri Balaji Society (SBS), spreading across an area of 16.5 acres. The campus also houses three other associate institutions of SBS, namely BIMHRD, BITM, and BIMM.
The BIIB campus spans the Tathawade zone, flanking the Mumbai-Bangalore Bypass, which is situated at a distance of roughly 17 kms from Pune. The BIIB campus houses the administrative and academic edifices, auditoriums, library, classrooms, hostel rooms, computer labs, games facilities, medical units, and so on. The institute’s library spread across a large area and stocks a massive collection of the latest edition of both Indian and international publishers.
The library also has an excellent collection of national as well as international encyclopedias, including retail chain management, disaster management, and the International Encyclopedia of Business & Management. One can also leaf through various international and national journals such as the American Journal of Education, AIMS International Journal of Management, and Asian Case Research Journal. Balaji Institute subscribes to a total of 1104 journals that anybody can access online throughout the campus.
The reading room of the library can accommodate up to 132 individuals at any given time. The library also has a multimedia room that houses a total of 10 computers. Two auditoriums in the campus serve as venues for a range of college events and functions, corporate addresses, interactions, presentations and seminars.
Both the auditoriums have been ergonomically designed and can seat 800 people and 1000 people, respectively. The auditoriums are equipped with the latest AV equipment, including a Bose sound system, LCD projector, and 3D acoustics. The institute also has two large conference rooms where different events are held.
The institute’s computer lab contains 60 desktops, and the entire space is fully air-conditioned and has a LED projector screen. BIIB organizes two socio-cultural events every year-Drishti and Ayyaswami. The students, apart from pursuing their respective academic programs, also take part in several co-curricular and extracurricular activities including research projects, debates, and inter-business school competitions.
