Karnataka State Open University has an effective Placement Cell that provides placement assistance to the students. It has strong relationships and MOUs with various companies for facilitating job opportunities to the students.
The Cell conducts around 4 job fairs including 1 mega job fair to provide the best placement and networking opportunities to the students. State level apprenticeship fair is organised in association with the Karnataka Government wherein the students gain valuable skills to enhance their chances of employability. Furthermore, there is a Guidance and Counselling Cell in KSOU Mysore that guides and assists the students choose the suitable career path.
