Institute of Engineering and Management B.Tech Fees Structure 2025 & Admission Process

The Academics of this institute is a bit tough compared to others, but if you are thoroughly focused on your future development, you would definitely find your place here. For entering this institute, you should have a minimum of 75 percent in your class 12th exams if you are going for Engineering and you should apply for the joint entrance examinations like JEE, WBJEE and they conduct their own examinations like IEMJEE. One must score very good in these examinations, like in the top 5 percent, for entering in the top branch which is CSE core in this institution. Kindly keep in mind about the discipline structure of this institution which is very strict, so be prepared for it, but once you have a good control over your academics as well as productivity, there would not be any problem anymore. PCM should be there for entering the engineering department, which is located in Salt Lake, Sector V, college more region, sometimes they might send you to the Newtown region, which is new and not that much old as this is. Be ready for constant exams, hackathons, cultural activities, and tons of discipline lectures.

The Eligibility criteria for this course are you have to score decent marks in either WBJEE or JEE mains. On the basis of their rank you can get the admission easily. You can also get admission through management quota but you have to pay higher amount, maybe be 3-4 lakh more. Courses offered in B.Tech are :- CSE, IT, CSE AI, CSE AIML, CSE IOT, CSE CSBS, ECE, ME, EE, EEE, and more.

I am currently enrolled in B.Tech in Computer Science and having specialisation in Internet of Things Cybersecurity and Blockchain Technology. Entry can be taken through WBJEE or IEMJEE along with passing marks in class 12th. My motive to choose this course was mainly due to placements and the opportunities the computer science and information technology industry provides.
