Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM), Kolkata has a state-of-the-art infrastructure and numerous facilities in order to cater to both the academic development of the students as well as their overall well-being.
At IEM Kolkata, students can avail a wide range of facilities including smart classrooms, fully-equipped laboratories, hostels, sports room, AC canteen, and multiple others to uplift their academic life. The Institute focuses on overall growth of the students for which it provides a wide range of amenities within its campus including educational and co-curricular. At the campus, 70+ classrooms, equipped with LCD projectors, microphones, Wi-Fi, etc. are present to offer quality learning to the students. Also, each classroom can accommodate around 60 students.
In order to conduct several seminars, academic activities, etc. more than 10 seminar halls and a ‘CII Auditorium’ are present at the IEM Kolkata campus. - Library: The Institute has a Central Library and several departmental libraries which offer numerous study materials for the students to enhance their academic prospects. In addition to this, there are more than 8,45,000 books and other educational resources within the Central Library.
Also, a digital library with 100+ computers is present at the IEM Kolkata campus through which students can access several online resources such as more than 4000 titles, 20,000+ e-journals, etc. Furthermore, numerous other facilities like a 24/7 reading room, reprographic amenities, and others are available within the library of the Institute.
- Laboratories: Within the campus of the Institution, 2400+ systems are available to offer computing facilities so that students can gain better understanding about the topics under their chosen discipline.
In addition, more than 50 fully-equipped laboratories are present within several departments like Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, etc. Also, Data Science lab, AI & ML lab, and IEDC Innovation lab are some of the available laboratories.
- Sports: A ‘Sports Room’ is there at the Institute’s campus which has several facilities for indoor games like TT Boards, Chess Kits, Carom Boards, and others. Moreover, this room has facilities for outdoor games like Football, Cricket, Volleyball, and others. Additionally, the campus has a Basketball Court and others.
- Hostels: At the Institute of Engineering and Management campus, separate residential facilities for both boys’ and girls’ are available with requisite amenities. Moreover, the rooms at the IEM Kolkata Hostel are spacious and fully-furnished with adequate facilities.
