The Placement cell present in the college is a full fledged training and placement cell which interacts with the corporate world to give more employment opportunities to the students and gives On-Campus opportunities. Organising talks, study abroad seminars, internship opportunities and workshops are some extra functions done by the placement cell. It is represented by more than 15 student representatives from various branches.

Students in their final year should apply with their credentials on the college website as companies will only consider final year students. Scores from 10^th, 12^th, First year, and Second year are considered before providing placements to the candidates. Science students should maintain a score of more than 60% & Commerce and Economics students should maintain a score more than 50%. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, IBM Daksh, Genpact, ICICI Prudential, Ernst and Young, etc are major recruiters in the college and select students every year on the basis of the marks secured.

The college is located in the north campus of Delhi University and is walking distance from Vishwavidyalaya metro station. The college campus is enabled with Wi-Fi access and with wired networks having more than 25 access points. The college provides students with more than 45 classrooms most of which are air-conditioned, 35+ classes have projectors. CCTV cameras are installed at the main entry gate, covering the surrounding areas, entry gate of girl’s hostel, library, and a few other strategic places. The security staff is present at particular locations and a police beat station is deployed at the college main gate for extra security. The college has branches for Punjab & Sind Bank inside the campus. The campus has an established Science Research Center for promotion of research activities. The campus also provides extra facilities for development of their students:

• Library: The college library is fully computerised with an air-conditioned reading room which can accommodate more than 150 students. The library has 1,30,0000+ books, 14,000+ invaluable manuscripts and other material on History, Politics, and Religion. More than 30 CCTV cameras have been installed in the library to monitor the activities of the students and maintain discipline. The library is open to Indian & Foreign research students who are interested in ancient manuscripts, rare books, and magazines etc.
• Sports: The College is known for its exceptional performance in sports and has also participated in international competitions. The College has a spacious playground for Hockey, Cricket, Football, Kho-Kho, Basket-ball, Tennis, Volley-ball, Swimming, Softball, Archery, Shooting, Baseball, Hand-ball and Wrestling. Adequate facilities for indoor games like Table Tennis, Carom, Chess and mini Gymnasium are available.
• Auditorium & Seminar Hall: The College consists of a multipurpose, state-of-art auditorium equipped with all the latest facilities. The auditorium has a fully air-conditioned system and can host more than 500 people for various cultural & academic activities. The college has a seminar hall for smaller cultural & academic activities with a capacity of more than 100 students. 
• Hostel: SGTB provides hostel facilities for girls coming from out of station. The hostel is equipped with all the modern facilities and can accommodate more than 140 students. The college has more than 40 rooms inside the college campus and is secured by CCTV cameras and security guards at strategic locations.
• Laboratory: The campus is equipped with practical laboratories for science stream students. With annual purchase the labs are updated with modern equipment. There are more than 20 laboratories in the campus for Zoology, Botany, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, and Electronics Labs.
• Canteen: The College has a spacious canteen which gives healthy & hygienic food and a Café Coffee Day express which is located beside the canteen to serve students at reasonable rates.
• Botanical Garden: The college campus has a Botanical Garden to conduct classes on ecology, taxonomy and environmental science. The Botanical Garden has sections such as herbal garden, mushroom cultivation hut, rockery, bonsai house, nursery, green house and vermi-compost area which traditionally bring classrooms closer to nature.
