Meenakshi College for Women was established in the year 1975 as an autonomous body of the institution. Its mission is to provide higher quality education and sustain academic excellence mainly. The library is air-conditioned and provides a lovely environment for the students to sit and read in solitude. The library runs on a modern technological system with a barcoding system available for the issuing of books. Internet services and five computers in separate cabins are also provided to the students. It also has a vast number of journals across a wide range of subjects to give researchers a more comfortable sanctuary.

College management is strict and adherent when it comes to punctuality, and students have to attain minimum attendance criterion to appear in end examination.
