TDCH Chennai offers placement guidance to the students. The Placement Cell of the college organises training programs for the students throughout the year and assists them with exploring training and placement opportunities. The Cell acts as a platform for students to identify opportunities in private and corporate dental clinics. 

Previously, students of the college have been placed at Venky Tamizh Dental Solutionz, R.R Multispeciality Dental Clinic, VK's Dental Care, Pari Dental Hospital, Shine Dental Clinic, Narmatha's Dental Care, Chakra Dental Care, etc.

Tagore Dental College and Hospital offers various facilities like Wi-Fi connection, green campus, well-equipped classrooms, temple, and so on. The utilities offered by the college include the following:

• Library: The library is stacked with 60.000 books. This collection includes text books and reference books. It has subscriptions to 26 international and 14 national journals. The central library of the college is stacked with around 5,000 books, approximately 30 international and about 19 national journals. It offers department specific sections inside the library, audio visual room, reading rooms, internet room, etc. The library is operated using a management system. 
• Laboratory: The laboratories provided by the college are equipped with required tools & equipment, reagents, etc. Some of the tools and machinery used by the students include thermometer, gel documentation system, micropipettes, biophotometer, trinocular light, microscope, etc. The labs set-up at the College are:

• Seminar Rooms: There are around 4 seminar halls which are used to conduct club presentations and seminars. The college facilitates the students with air conditioned halls with all the audio-visual utilities.
• Hostel: College facilitates the male & female students with separate hostel facilities. The facilities offered at the hostels are dining room, sports room, gym, TV room, etc. the sports facilities provided to boys and girls are table tennis, carom, chess, etc.
• Sports: The college offers facilities like courts & grounds for cricket, football, throw ball, handball, badminton and volleyball. The indoor games facilities provided by the college include chess, carom, and table tennis.
• Transportation: College facilitates the students with transportation services from different areas of the city to ensure that the students reach the college on time.
