It was Shri RP Mody who founded this university in 1998. Today the university is an all-girls India’s largest private universities in India. Mody University admissions in all its six schools are merit based. Mody University Scholarship cum Admission Test is mandatory for most courses. Residential facilities – First thing first and that is that students staying here will never miss their home. In all, there are 8 hostels at the university and each one is facilitated with 180 beds. Rooms with single double and four occupancies are available at the campus. There is choice in AC and Non-AC rooms too. Since, Sikar faces extreme temperature, hot and cold-water facilities are provided in hostel bathrooms. A power house has been kept at bay so that an uninterrupted power supply is maintained at the hostels. Since, the campus is quite big and therefore students have to travel a lot to reach their academic block to hostels, the university have arranged a couple of buses to take students from hostels to their respective colleges.
Sports facilities – Out of 265 acres of land, 17 and a half acres of land is dedicated to sports facilities of the campus. All the grounds and courts are as per international standard. Be it the basketball court or the lawn tennis court, one will find them as good as any international courts. One of the rarest sporting facilities that Mody University has is Equestrian.
