Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology Hostel provides residential facilities for both boys as well as girls. There are 10 hostels for all students. The main goal on campus is "SAFETY," and the school is known as "SAFE HEAVEN" for female students in particular. All the daily, academic needs of the students are on campus hence making the hostel life more comfortable. Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology Hostel rooms are comfortable, well-furnished, and well-equipped with all the facilities that the students might need during their stay. Triple-sharing rooms are available with three beds, wardrobes, study tables, and chairs. There is a provision for Air conditioned rooms as well.

Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology Hostel food is comparatively better than many and is very nutritious. The mess in each hostel serves four meals a day. The mess is managed by the committee created by the institute. It ensures that hygienic and healthy food is served on all days.
