The Bachelor of Technology is a 4-year full-time program approved by AICTE. A student opting to study the B. Tech course can select from a variety of engineering/technology streams for specialization. B.Tech streams at Sathyabama University include Civil, CSE, ECE, Electronics and Telecommunications, Automobile, Mechanical, Aeronautical, Information Technology, Bioinformatics, and Biotechnology.
The applicant has to pass the 10 +2 examination of a central/state education board with PCMB as a subject combination. Additionally, he has to secure at least 60% marks in all subjects on an aggregate basis.
The curriculum of Bachelor of Architecture or B. Arch program at Sathyabama University is spread across five years, comprising ten semesters. B. Arch is a full-time, regular, on-campus course. Any candidate who has cleared the secondary examination, securing at least 60% marks can apply. Alternatively, students who have passed the 10+2/higher secondary examination, achieving a minimum aggregated score of 60% in PCM are eligible as well. The latter candidates should also obtain a valid score in NATA or any national level architectural entrance exam.
Sathyabama University MBA program has a schedule of two years and approved by UGC. To qualify for this master’s degree program in management, the student must be a graduate (any stream) of any certified university.
The School of Computing under Sathyabama University offers the 3-year B. Sc (Computer Science) course. To apply for this undergraduate course, students must clear the 10+2 exam in the pure science stream. However, final admission depends upon the marks obtained in the university conducted entrance examination.
All students with a B.E. or B. Tech degree can send in their application for the university’s 2-year M. Tech program. One can pursue the M. Tech course, choosing a specialization from a wide range of engineering/technology streams. These streams include biotechnology, VLSI design, nuclear science engineering, nanotechnology, chemical engineering, artificial intelligence & robotics, and so on.
An applicant who wants to take up the M. Tech course, should have the B. Tech/B.E. degree of a UGC approved university.
