The Oriental School of Law offers the 5-year integrated B.A. LLB (Honors) program which is a fulltime, on-campus course. The Bar Council of India (BCI) has approved this undergraduate program in law and the course curriculum adheres to the rules and regulations laid down by BCI. In the first three years, students complete the subjects relating to the arts discipline, and following completion of the course, they receive the B. A. certification.
Students, in the remaining two years, devote their time towards studying the myriad topics and themes related to law. The different subjects that students cover include political science, sociology, history, and economics together with law subjects such as labor laws, international laws, administrative laws, patent laws, corporate laws, and criminal laws. Students not only attend classroom lectures but also gain knowledge by focusing on case studies and hone their practicing skills by participating in moot court sessions.
In order to qualify for B. A. LLB, students need to pass their higher secondary examination in any stream. Additionally, they’ll have to clear any national level law entrance exam like CLAT, AILET, or LSAT. Oriental University Fee Structure is less in comparison with other similar institutes.
B. Lib. I. Sc. program is an undergraduate degree course with a one-year study period. The discipline of library science entails exploiting academic and information technology techniques for maintaining, supervising, and archiving information. Students will have to clear their graduation, achieving at least 50% marks in aggregate to qualify for this program.
Once students successfully complete this undergraduate program, they will be able to apply to jobs like information analyst, deputy librarian, library and information officer, and documentation officer.
BJMC course is a 3-year fulltime undergraduate program segregated into six semesters. Any candidate that has cleared 10+2 (in any stream) from a recognized state or central board, achieving at least 50% marks in aggregate, can apply to this course. The innovatively designed course curriculum equips students with fundamental journalistic skills in myriad mass media channels. Students come to know about the trending and emergent aspects of print, electronic, and digital media.
Once students complete the BJMC course, they can work as a journalist, features writer, news analyst, TV correspondent, columnist, Radio Jockey, photo journalist, and so on.
