Chitkara University Solan Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Chitkara University has 17 acres big campus with gym, academic block named as: CVR block, Ramanujan block and Kalam block. There are also places to enjoy cricket and football like Alpha zone, Beta zone and Gamma zone (for basketball). There is no swimming is available. But it has a very big library.

Overall, the campus life is ok. The crowd is mostly of Computer Science & Engineering branch of different interests. There are lots of clubs like: happiness center, ACM, CSI, IEEE, Singing, Dancing, Drama, and Nati. Most of the clubs are related to coding. The Infrastructure is quiet descent and the campus is placed in 17 acres of land which is extremely beautiful. The college have air conditioned classroom and it also have a library with well equipped books full of knowledge. Even the computer labs are in good condition with both MAC and Windows Operating system.

College has a variety of fests organised every year and the clubs are very active in the campus. Every festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm in the campus. So talking about the infrastructure, campus is divided into different blocks which are names on the historical scientists and achievers. So there are 3 sections where most of the classes of the CSR students take place. CVR block, RJ block, and Kalam block. CVR for CV Raman and RJ stands for Ramanujan. The nursing and pharma have their separate different blocks. The university is located at a nice location where there is not much noise and all. But a disadvantage is that, there is nothing much outside of university that we can do.

Talking about the campus life, I think it is pretty decent and all the facilities like food courts and all are there. Talking about the crowd, the ratio of Male and female is of 60:40 and there are enough crowds that you won’t feel alone there. The crowd is not like too much it is decent according to me.
