Second reason is that college placement offers are also good compared to other colleges. We have the best computer labs and digital library facilities. I joined SRIT in 2020 as a lateral entry student after completing my diploma. Students here have to perform multitasking. At first I was confused with the work schedules. Later, understood and realised that even I can do multitasking. I learnt many theoretical concepts which were explained by extremely talented and experienced faculty. The labs and resources are abundant. There are many kinds of activities conducted in order to promote student involvement. This improved subject interest in me. The techexpo, social relevant projects, technical projects, NCC and NSS, internships, sports, toast master clubs, webinars, skill development programs, etc. are there in every semester. Student should be able to participate in all these and manage their academics as well. The exams are conducted in a very strict manner. Our college follows Blooms taxonomy which means to Remember, Understand, Apply, Analyze, Evaluate, and Create. The college encourages the students to achieve a good placement. Generally placements provides jobs which are only related to software but here even the core job related placement will also be available to the other branch students like EEE, Civil, and Mechanical. I am also one among the core placed students of the year 2023. The students who want to go for further studies are also encouraged by providing GATE coaching. The business interested students are also encouraged by knowing their ideas and providing suitable suggestions by experienced business faculty. The college provides hostel and bus facilities.
