To provide job opportunities to the students in the competitive industry, the institute has a Centralised Training and Placement Cell, for developing the overall personality of the students, the cell makes efforts to organise skill enhancement programs, group discussions, project management lectures, etc. Reputed companies visit the campus for placement drives, for which the cell develops and nurtures professional relationship within the corporate world. The cell assists students in clarifying their career objectives through career counseling sessions. To spread awareness about the company requirements, pre-placement talks are arranged by the cell. Summer training and internship programs help students in obtaining hands-on experience in the industry.

SIT has a sprawling campus which is enabled with modern infrastructure and facilities and provides free internet facility to the students. The institutes’ infrastructure and facilities are listed below:

• Library: The library has a vast collection of resources which includes 4500+ titles, 4500+ reference books, 850+ CD & floppies, competitive examination books, periodicals, etc. A digital library which is equipped with around 10 fully updated computer systems with internet facility is provided to the students. The library also has a reading hall, periodical section, photocopying & scanning facility, etc.
• Laboratories: In the institutes’ premises, well equipped laboratories are available for performing practicals in the respective subjects by the students which includes physics lab, chemistry lab, electronics lab, mechanics lab, etc. A computer lab for learning programming languages like C, C++, JAVA, HTML, etc is available.
• Hostel: Separate hostel facilities for boy and girls is available. “Sinhgad Boy’s Hostel” is built on the 42,466 square meters area which includes 7 buildings. The boy’s hostel has 800+ rooms which can accommodate around 2500 students. “Sinhgad Girl’s Hostel” is developed on the 17,271 square meters area which includes 3 buildings. It has 200+ rooms which accommodates 600+ students. A hostel room is equipped with a wooden chair, table, iron rack, attached washrooms, and many others. The hostel has a recreation hall, internet facility, TV block, etc.
• Canteen: In the campus, there are 4 separate canteens which provide food & beverages items to the students at reasonable prices. Along with that, a “Nescafe” Parlor is also available in the institute premises. 
• Mess: For boy’s and girl’s, a separate mess facility is available which provides healthy and hygienic food meals with a seating capacity of around 500 students in the respective mess.
• Sports: The sports complex of the institute is developed on 40 acres of land which includes a separate cricket ground with 5 acres of land area and a unique sports complex with 13 acres of land area. Moreover, a jogging track with 11 lanes, hockey ground, football ground, 2 basketball courts, 2 volleyball courts, skating court, etc facilities are available in the campus. Indoor games facilities for table tennis, carom, chess, etc are available. A gym is also available.
• Medical Facilities: STES’s Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College & Hospital Medical store is available for providing medical facilities to the students by experienced medical practitioners. 24/7 ambulance service is available.
• Additional Facilities: Guest House, Photocopy Center, Auditorium, Seminar Hall, Post Box, and many other facilities.
